An international standard hospital which will become a destination for world medical travelers will soon be present in Indonesia. The hospital was built in the Sanur Special Economic Zone (KEK) which was stipulated through Government Regulation Number 41 of 2022 concerning the Sanur KEK on November 1 2022.
The series of SEZ development evaluation meetings continued with a site visit to the Galang Batang SEZ and Bintan Industrial Estate on Saturday, October 7 2023. This visit is a strategic step in order to encourage economic development and investment in the Riau Islands.
In order to support the development of the Bali SEZ, President Joko Widodo has issued Presidential Decree Number 6 of 2023 concerning the Bali Province SEZ Regional Council, which appoints the Governor of Bali as Chair of the Regional Council, the Mayor of Denpasar as Deputy Chair of the Regional Council, the Regional Secretary of Bali Province as ex-officio Secretary of the Regional Council, as well as other members of the Regional Council.
