King's College London visited the Singhasari SEZ and continued by holding a meeting with the Deputy Governor of East Java Emil Dardak
In this meeting, KCL expressed their seriousness in developing transnational education (TNE) in KEK Singhasari as well as a number of their hopes that the collaboration with KEK Singhasari could be realized soon.
The series of SEZ development evaluation meetings continued with a site visit to the Galang Batang SEZ and Bintan Industrial Estate on Saturday, October 7 2023. This visit is a strategic step in order to encourage economic development and investment in the Riau Islands.
In order to support the development of the Bali SEZ, President Joko Widodo has issued Presidential Decree Number 6 of 2023 concerning the Bali Province SEZ Regional Council, which appoints the Governor of Bali as Chair of the Regional Council, the Mayor of Denpasar as Deputy Chair of the Regional Council, the Regional Secretary of Bali Province as ex-officio Secretary of the Regional Council, as well as other members of the Regional Council.
