Twelve (12) SEZs dispersed from the west to the east of Indonesia are supported by infrastructure implementation, provided with special facilities and incentives and ensured by ease of doing business
Business Entities and both Local or National Government shall be entitled to propose the SEZ in accordance to the procedures
1. In accordance to Regional Spatial Plan and does not have the potential to disrupt the protected areas;
2. Supported by the related provincial and/or district/municipal government;
3. Located adjacent to international trade routes or international shipping lanes in Indonesia or located in the region of potential natural resources;
4. Has a clear boundaries.
